Bacitracin zinc ointment can be used for a variety of minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. Bacitracin Ointment stops and prevents bacterial infections by killing susceptible bacteria or inhibiting growth.

This antibiotic only prevents bacterial infections and does not work for virus or fungus infections. 

Do not use this product over large areas of the body. Do not use it for serious skin infections.
